Most industries and most processes will not benefit from significant performance gains from generative AI. The biggest challenge with new or resource constrained organizations that are incorporating these technologies is that they might not have mature processes, rather they improvise. Before you can transfer a process to AI, you need to have a stable and digitized process in place that can benefit from performance gains and automation. It’s important that people understand and assume risk when they are using AI.
